Construction & Project Management
Two-way defect sync between construction and customer care
Procore manages your construction delivery. Guided Home manages what happens after the keys go out. The integration connects the two in real time: defects raised in Guided Home become punch items in Procore automatically, Procore status changes flow back via webhook, and both teams see the same record without switching tools or reconciling spreadsheets. Built specifically for UK residential developers running Procore for site management alongside a customer care and homeowner aftercare programme.
Key capabilities
Project import & linking
Import Procore projects and create linked Guided developments with cross-system reference IDs.
Bidirectional defect sync
Guided defects become Procore punch items; Procore status changes update Guided in real time via webhook.
Webhook-driven updates
Procore notifies Guided when punch items change, eliminating constant polling and ensuring instant visibility.
File and attachment upload
Defect images and documents upload to the corresponding Procore punch item automatically.
Punch item manager assignment
Query and assign punch item managers from your Procore project team directly within Guided Home.
Daily batch reconciliation
An Azure Function runs nightly to catch any missed or queued sync events, with no manual checking required.
Use cases
Residential developers using Procore for site management who need a customer-facing defect and aftercare platform without disrupting how site teams work in Procore
Customer care managers who need live defect status from site, without calling the site manager or logging into Procore
Construction and commercial teams who need visibility of homeowner-reported defects alongside contractor punch items in a single Procore project view
Quality managers running pre-completion and post-completion inspections in Guided Home with outcomes automatically surfaced as Procore punch items for contractor resolution
Portfolio managers overseeing multiple active Procore projects who want a single Guided Home dashboard showing defect status across all schemes simultaneously
How it works
Guided Home doesn't replace Procore. It connects to it. Your team keeps working in the tools they know. Guided Home adds the governance layer: capturing evidence, tracking responsibility, and surfacing the right information to buyers, homeowners, and site teams at the right moment.
The Procore integration is live in production today. It connects in minutes using your existing credentials, with no changes to how your Procore environment is configured.
Talk to us about ProcoreProcore is purpose-built for construction delivery: project management, submittals, RFIs, and site QA. But the moment keys are handed over to a buyer, the construction record needs to become a customer record. Homeowner defect reports, aftercare queries, and post-completion inspections don't live naturally in Procore, and your site teams shouldn't be fielding customer care calls through a construction management tool. Guided Home fills this gap: it's the customer-facing assurance layer that picks up where Procore finishes, and the integration keeps both sides synchronised without anyone having to do it manually.
The integration is bidirectional and webhook-driven. When a defect is raised in Guided Home, whether by a homeowner through their portal, by a customer care manager during an aftercare inspection, or by a site manager during a pre-completion walkthrough, it automatically creates a corresponding punch item in the linked Procore project. When the Procore punch item status changes (marked complete by the contractor, reassigned by the site manager, or updated with a note), the change flows back to Guided Home in real time via webhook. No manual updates. No export-and-import. No reconciliation calls.
Projects and plots import from Procore into Guided Home during onboarding, using cross-system reference IDs that keep the records linked throughout the property lifecycle. Defect images and documents uploaded in Guided Home attach to the corresponding Procore punch item automatically. Punch item manager assignments can be queried directly from your Procore project team and applied to defects in Guided Home, so the right contractor gets the right task in the tool they already use, without any data re-entry.
Webhook delivery can occasionally fail under network load or timing conditions, particularly on large developments with hundreds of simultaneous defect updates. To ensure no updates are missed, an Azure Function runs a nightly batch reconciliation, comparing punch item states between Procore and Guided Home and resolving any divergence. This gives construction and customer care teams confidence that both systems reflect the same reality, even across high-volume periods at practical completion.
The integration connects using your existing Procore credentials. No changes to your Procore environment, project configuration, or contractor access are required. Connection takes minutes. Once live, Procore projects can be imported and linked to Guided Home developments individually or in bulk, and webhook endpoints register automatically. Per-tenant configuration means each organisation's Procore credentials are stored in isolation, with no shared infrastructure between clients.
